Pocket Pivot Privacy Policy

This notice explains what Pocket Pivot handles, where it is stored, and how you can ask questions about it.

What Pocket Pivot does

Pocket Pivot turns spending history into calendar heatmaps, local pattern views, widgets, and optional bank connections. Sample data is synthetic and does not require a Pocket Pivot account or bank connection.

Bank data

Bank connections are read-only. Pocket Pivot cannot create payments or move money. Automatic connections use Enable Banking and a Pocket Pivot service hosted on Cloudflare. The bank, connection provider, and Pocket Pivot service process account and transaction data to establish the connection, fetch available history, and support refreshes. Direct bunq connections use the API credentials supplied in the app.

On-device storage

Imported transaction history is stored locally by the app. Direct bunq credentials use iOS Keychain. Local transaction files use iOS file protection and are excluded from backups. Widgets receive aggregate daily totals, not transaction descriptions, counterparties, or bank credentials.

Analytics

Pocket Pivot does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Product analytics are opt-in and processed in the EU. Events exclude amounts, merchants, account names, IBANs, bank credentials, and anything typed into the app.

Service-side data

The banking service keeps the connection and session metadata needed to operate automatic connections and can retain transaction snapshots used for synchronization. Current launch documentation sets a service-side retention target of up to 90 days. Disconnecting a bank and deleting local app data are separate actions; contact us for questions or requests about service-side data.

Launch email and support

If you join the launch list, Pocket Pivot stores the email address needed to send launch information. If you email support, the message and address are handled through the email provider. Do not send bank passwords, API keys, IBANs, or transaction exports.

Deletion and disconnect

You can disconnect individual bank connections in the app. Settings can delete local transaction history, insights, filters, analytics identity, widget data, and locally stored connection material from the device. For launch-list, support, or service-side deletion questions, email us from the address you used.
